How do tutors and parents join?

The owner invites them by email from the dashboard. They open the invite or a shared link, set a password, and sign in.

I forgot my password.

Use Forgot password on the sign in page to reset it by email.

Can I use my own skill level system?

Yes. Edit the whole skill level ladder under Owner, then Skill levels.

Can a tutor work without an account for a class?

Yes. A class can stay unassigned. You can add a tutor later.

Is there a mobile app?

Install the web app to your home screen. See Install the app. Store listings are on the way.

Does the app cost anything to start?

You can set up and run your practice for free on the Starter plan. No card is needed to begin.

What do the paid plans add?

Starter is free for up to 10 students, 1 tutor and 1 class at one location, with one shared ladder. Growth adds unlimited students, up to five locations, in app messaging, targeted announcements, online card payments, a custom domain, and advanced reporting. Multi site adds unlimited locations and removes TutorRoom branding from your public page. See the Pricing section on the home page.

How do I upgrade my plan?

Open the Billing and plan tab in the owner dashboard and choose a plan. You can change or cancel at any time.

Can we run competitions as well as assessments?

Yes. Schedule a competition, invite students, and families accept or decline and pay any entry fee, the same way assessments work.
