Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Package HQ Limited (“we”, “us”), the company behind TutorRoom. By creating an academy or using TutorRoom, you agree to them.

The service

TutorRoom is software for running a tutoring academy: managing students, classes, belts, gradings, competitions, attendance, payments, messaging, and a public page. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your account

You must give accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you invite (tutors, parents, students). You must be old enough to form a binding contract.

Plans, billing and renewals

• The Starter plan is free. Paid plans (Growth, Multi-site) are billed monthly or annually in advance.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Fees are shown in your local currency at checkout and exclude taxes unless stated.
• We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.

Online payments to academies

Where an academy collects fees from families by card, TutorRoom facilitates the payment through Stripe and the money is paid to that academy. The academy, not Package HQ Limited, is responsible for the tuition it charges, the service it provides, and any refunds to its families.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity, no attempts to break security or access data that isn't yours, and no use that infringes others' rights.

Your data

You keep ownership of the data you put into TutorRoom. You grant us the licence needed to host and operate the service. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep TutorRoom available and reliable, but it is provided “as is” without warranties. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Package HQ Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service and close your academy at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; we'll post the new version here with an updated date.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
